I''ve always just used whatever cheap case came with whatever I was buying at the time. The one I have now appears to be rather nice and all but I''m probably going to replace it. I just replaced the MOBO in it with a NF2 one wich is all around nicer than my last. Doesn''t do much more than add 8xAGP suport, but my old one was a bit clichy. Seeing as how now my DVD drive is forced to sick out 1/4 inch out it bothering me, and Truth be told my other board works and I feel the need to use old parts to buld a second PC. I don''t know what I''ll do with 2 PCs but damn is important that I have it. So I kinda asking what people feel is important in a case. I kinda cheap and dont feel the need for some water cooled neon event but something good and solid without major flaws would be nice. What are good brands? What are bad things to see in a case? What do you have and are you happy with it? I coulp probably google if I wanted but It would lack the personal experance of a forum full of PC BAs.

Antec makes ''good and solid'' cases with kick ass psu''s. They are typically very functional and make buidling and upgrades that much easier, but are less visually appealing than some of the tricked out cases you can buy off the shelf these days. If you keep your computer under the desk, this is (one of) the best way to go.
The Tyr project is here.
