Quick question for anyone here who might be in the know. Your a publisher. You''ve got a finished game your happy with, the CDs are in the process of being pressed....what happens then? How do the stores go about ordering copies of the game? Are there trade catalogs/mags, do they order direct through the publisher or do they go through another third party to order games....how?

If you are a small publisher, I guess you have to take Yellow pages and contact the stores

Most publishers deal with distributors who in turn sell on to the stores in their area. Some publishers own distributors or deal direct with some larger chains.
