Hi, i''m just wonding if there are any good development envorinments for development of the ARB vertex/fragment programs. From what i gather ATI''s render monkey on supports DirectX shaders only right now and Nvidia''s Cg uses it''s own c-style lanaguage (i''m not looking to write using a high level shader language and compile to the specific syntax; i want to write using the ARB grammers). On my Mac I''ve been using the OpenGL Shader Builder to write my vertex programs and i was wondering if there is something similar to this on windows. Thanks

I just saw this link on OpenGL.org. It looks quite promissing; has anybody been able to try it out? I''m running MAC''s in the office and wont be able to try it until I get home tonight.

I havent seen the shader builder for MAC, but i have developed a material editor for windows for awhile now, and ofcourse i can make it for just edit Vertex and Fragment programs, but I have found that just an editor for those two things are not that meaningfull, you often need to be able to set all those things that you have in for example Render monkey, loading of textures, setting variables, multipass, edit blend modes, assigning vertex attribute arrays to different inputs and so on.. When i solved all that above, i will release my editor aswell
