I''d like to see an article on debugging techniques. (I''d write it myself, but, uh, I''m a little busy. ) It could cover techniques ranging from those used when a proper debugger isn''t available (printing debug messages, etc) to asserts and efficient use of breakpoints under MSVC. I second this suggestion. Has it been written yet?

I would write it, but the fact that I use Dev C++ might alienate the mostly Visual C++ audience.

an article on using non-visual studio debugers could be good anyway.
if anyone does write an article for VS, include this tip:
#include <crtdbg.h>
#define new new(_NORMAL_BLOCK,__FILE__, __LINE__)
int flag = _CrtSetDbgFlag(_CRTDBG_REPORT_FLAG); // Get current flag
flag |= _CRTDBG_LEAK_CHECK_DF; // Turn on leak-checking bit
_CrtSetDbgFlag(flag); // Set flag to the new value

Actually, thinking about it, I might get started on the article. It should be done by the end of this month

Thanks
