Hmm, my school ends the 26, but these past two weeks have been regents exam, which, i go to very few, and classes ended the 9th, so its more like talk to your friends till the 26th.

How many of you guys are in college? I''m curious. I just finished up my freshman year of college, and one of the things I like about it is that we get a lot more time for summer. I''m not going to say how long I''ve been on summer vacation because I don''t want to be beaten up! Anyway, my advice is, get a solid plan for summer, and have goals for each week and day, because you don''t want to waste it! I''ve already spent too much time screwing around, and I regret it. You''ll feel much better after each day if you can look at it and see some things that you accomplished.

Anyway, have a great summer.

I have been out of school since the 8th. I have been studying my heart out on Java becasue I have to make a shopping cart using servlets and java server pages before Augest 25th when school starts again.

First of all, I''ve got you beat joeG- I''ve been out of college since April 21st. I did have less vacation time during the school year than I would have at other schools, but I would rather have a killer summer like I have.

Phantasm- those sound like good goals(they''re pretty similar to mine...) I go to BYU(Brigham Young University), and so some things are different, but I might be able to tell you a little bit about college.

Almost everyone has to improve their study habits when they get to college- classes, on the average, are on a higher level than high school(I would hope so, anyway!) The first few weeks of college are critical- you want to push extra hard to be outgoing, friendly, and to get good grades. If you find you are working harder than you have to, you can tone things down a bit; you definitely don''t want to find that you aren''t working hard enough! In general, college has lots more available, in every area, and everything is more intense, too. You have more fun and work harder than ever before. At least, this is the way things went for me.
