You don''t get a 128-bit integer. Instead, you simulate it with a big-integer class. Google for it.

How appropriate. You fight like a cow.

or buy an Itanium
If brute force does not solve your problem....you're not using enough!

An Itanium (and Opteron) is only 64 bits

So buy two of them. ;-)

MMX and SSE i think use 128-bit registers... but that really wont help much, since its just the register size....

You may declare a lon int in an IA64, and if you are using a gnu gcc compiler it will create you a 128 bit integer.

Don''t know much about it, but can''t u use two long ints, and multiply(not thinking) them?

don''t know what you mean, but if I multiply to 10 digit long ints, it buffer overruns.

What do you need that large of an integer for?
Most likely a better solution would be to change your algorithm.
