I am wanting to create a program which asks the user to enter a username and then changes the last user that has logged onto windows to that. I was wondering what the best way to go about doing this would be? It would have to be able to detect the windows kernel and then go about editing it then. I want to do this so I do not have to go into regedit each time I need to do this. Thank you for your help. -Ezudin

If I understood your problem RegCreateKeyEx() and RegSetValueEx() are the functions you''re looking for. By utilizing those, you will be able to change values in the registry. But, if what you meant with "so I do not have to go into regedit each time" was that you dont what to use the registry in this way, then dismiss my post.
