Axe - Axe Effect

Has anyone tried the deodorant Axe? If so, have any of you experienced the "Axe Effect"? My friend swears that it is actually true, but I''ve been using it for a day and don''t see a difference.
Axe?
Has no one here heard of Axe deodorant except for the crazy guy who likes monkeys?
Everyone likes monkeys.
Axe won''t let you pick up chicks if you''re still ass ugly. To have the Axe effect work, you''d need reconstructive surgery before putting it on.

Once, I spilled chili on my shirt, but I didn''t have another so I just wore that one all day. At one point, some hawt chick ran into me, knocking both of us over. I''ll never forget what she said as we stared deeply into each other''s eyes, inches away: "Get your hands off my ass. I''m going to miss my flight."
I never saw her again.
*sigh* Fond memories.

Is the axe effect anything like the Lynx effect? Where everyone become attracted to you - hate the current ad for Lynx. Why? Crap music and it has two frogs getting it on with rather disturbing squelchy noises. Filth!
Axe is the continental European name for Lynx. It''s called Lynx in the UK.
Not seen any ad with frogs in though so they''re probably territory specific ads.
The current UK ad is the "Men''s sweat only attracts other men. Lynx - Attract Women." one.
More of a Physio Sport or Issey Miyake bloke myself.
"Lynx effect"/"Axe effect" etc are a load of nonsense. What''s important to the opposite sex is you not stinking of sweat (+ other bodily fluids) or bad smelling cheapo anti perspirant/deodorant.
Oh yeah and not using it to cover up any lack of soap use is important too
I really love the Axe effect commercial where the guy bangs three redheads in the elevator. I mean 3!!! Three redheads!!! Had they had different hair I wouldn''t bother, but with 3 redheads they may have convinced me.
This was necroed? Well, then, the response is appropriate cause they only played the 3 redheads at the start of the campaign. Later on various people get on besides the redhead and they make the ad funny cause one was a big, gay biker and another alternate ending was an old woman.
Wait a minute, how could it have been 3? It must have been 2. Or was it 3? Anyone remember?

I find redheads very hot as well.. the question is: is it just because they are rare? Or is it an actual nice hair colour? Hmm.. that's something to contemplate.
