We have been working on developing a ''commercial''game engine/tool for almost 3 1/2 years. It is almost ready for completion.(i''m very excited!). It will compete(or beat..hopefully)tools like Virtools Dev,and Quest3D,and many others. The difference will be in the price/license options. I wanted to make a tool available that is capable of producing commercial quiality games, that everyone can use, without the heavy(or ridiculous) pricing. I can not say too much right now,but rest assured within the next 6 weeks you will hear a lot more, about the engine, company and pricing. For now,i would like to ask,how many of you would consider using/buying a tool like this, what would be a price that you could afford? to support further development, and what price do you think is reasonable for a tool such as this. Here is some(basic) information. We have some fairly ''nifty''features, and i would say, quite a nice engine/Game Development tool. here are ''SOME''(not all) of the features: * A very good architected C++ API * A hierarchical scene graph supporting several primitives such as lines, triangles, triangle strips and particles. * Blended skeletal animation, keyframe, ragdoll, morphing, facial animation, cloth, soft body, animated textures, particle animation. * Soft Stencil shadows,Per pixel DOT3 bump mapping,Volumetric per pixel lighting,Environmental reflections. * Multiple culling and sorting techniques. * max and maya Particle Systems, moving emitters, snow, deflectors, array, bomb, cloud etc etc. * Dynamic Collision Detection. * Fog( Z-based,range-based,texture-based,volumetric). * Dynamic RGB lighting * (FULL) 2D Pre-rendered backdrop support(with custom 3ds max/ maya plugins, that allow you to render your scenes in max/maya and literally just''import'' everything.Lights, camera information, very, very easy to use,for these gaming situations. * projected lights,Projected textures, projected shadows, dynamic shadows, mirrors. * Full DX9 Pixel and Vertex Shaders support,i.e,you can make your own shaders, add or change them very easily.Either using HLSL,RenderMonkey,cgFX,or ''our''shaders, provided by the engine. * Multi-textures(decals,gloss maps, light maps, dark maps). * Level of detail, bone LODs. * Tri-Stripping,Aggressive Culling,Portal-Based Visibility. * lua scripting for programmers, though can also use an alternative method similar to virtools, and quest 3d. * very nice(WYSIWYG) editor in real time. * SDK for c++ programmers. these are main features, though there will be more information shortly. Please, take a moment to give me your thoughts/feedback. Thanks for your time.

I would like a stripped down, completely free with no trial attached demo .

Sounds great. I''d expect most people would want to see a demo of what the system can create though, with source code included when they eventually purchase it. Best of luck!

Demos showing its power will be available very soon.

networking,sound are all there,(Physics)either HAVOK,(different licence options),or ODE.

(ai) will not dissapoint!,will certainly square up to,
or be more of a unfair fight(in our favour, that is) than
the current offerings of Quest 3D and Virtools Dev

One thing i will say is,''someone'' very close to GameDev.net,that most of you will know,(going way back in the early days),none of my ideas would have seen the light of day without his support/help.

It will come as as something of a suprise,to some of of you,as he will be directly involved in the future devlopment and be directly involved in the ''support''side of things.

(clue)a lot of you, will have something with his name on,in your homes

Stay Tuned!
