For as long as I could remember, I sat at my computer for one purpose- make money. I''d always come up with stupid little non-working schemes for making money... these would range from programming webservers to doing website design to actually attempting to make a site that said "Why lie, I need $2000 for a nice camera. donate some money to me.". I''ve been lucky I guess to make about $400 off the net over the past two years but I''m completely out of ideas. I sit here.. browse the lounge... and do nothing. absolutely nothing. I ONLY fucking need $10 for some fans. I use to be able to get $10 with no sweat by doing design, but i''ve ran out of site design ideas

allready tried it. I wrote a shareware webserver, a shareware screencapture program, and a shareware organizer/calander program. I had all up at various download sites but none of them made any money

They were all written in VB too

Do tech support for people, and/or build them computers. Put up some ads locally (community newspapers, bulletin boards, etc.), and go to people's houses and fix their problems, teach them stuff, etc.

It's what I've been doing for the past little while. I've probably made between one and two thousand dollars doing it for the past year. Not great, but considering it's a part time job where I'm lucky to get one call per week, I'm happy enough.

that actually sounds like a good idea! OMFG good ideas on GDNET! anyways, a friend and I posted some ads offering to do in-house networking (wiring, hardware setup, etc..) but we havn''t gotten any offers yet. I got paied $70 from his dad though to help him with organizing their server closet lol. I''ll talk to my friend about expanding the things we do into support & etc.. Thanks for the great idea

Have you tried one of those infomercial things where they say that you can be a millionaire over night by selling products over the internet? According to the infomercials, they really work.
