In my humble opinion, the best, coolest, most wickedest shape is the.... TRIANGLE!! It''s got 3 points, 3 sides, 3 angles (which all add up to 180 degrees!!). They can be put together to make any other shape ever imagined, so there! Try and tell me that there is a way cooler shape?! 2 days without a drink or cigarette, and I feel like a new man - but i''m going to stick with the i''ve got

Every N-sided regular polygon has those properties...

n points, n sides, n angles; (n-2)*180 sum of angles...

And if you omit perfect theoritical circular shapes (which triangles can''t achieve either) then they all can.

So stop bullshitting the other shapes just because you happen to like triangle. I dislike your close-mindedness.

I read somewhere that people who like triangles are more likely to die early of terrible painful death than other people.

Hmm... it would appear that I didn''t consider the facts before making my post. But you can''t make a triangle with squares, whereas you can make a square with triangles - in your face!

As for dying of a terrible death, what makes you think you won''t just because you don''t worship the almighty that is the triangle.

Circles are pretty damn cool too, eh? there must be a reason why they''re not as cool as triangles though - hang on....

Did you know that if you are trying to clip a triangle against the edges of the screen, you split the triangle into other triangles that make up the remaining irregular shape to draw?

I love triangles too.
I would never have gotten my Glide engine to work had it not been for them.

And then, Glide.... died.

I think a Mobius strip is the coolest shape. Two sides, one continuous edge.

The oblique triangle is probably the coolest shape.

I''m also partial to octahedrons, since I think my spherical mesh tessellation and optimization algorithm is pretty cool.

And yet, the circle (or sphere) is almost unquestionably the most mysterious and inherently perfect of shapes.

Ah, I can''t decide, so just to be different, I''ll say the coolest shape is... the point!

... unless, of course, you claim that an infinitely small square is a point, and that a solid triangle is the set of all such squares who lie within the three sides of a triangle.

... or if you define your triangle to be the intersection of two squares, for right triangles, or three squares, for oblique triangles.

... or, again for right triangles, you could take a clever interpretation of the term "squares", and solve the triangle through knowing that, when you square two numbers and add them, you know the square of a third number.
