I''m trying to compile a DirectX program, but keep getting the following message. "fatal error C1083: Cannot open include file: ''dhEngine.h'': No such file or directory" I do have the DirectX 8 SDK installed. I have linked my compiler to the include files and library files for the DirectX SDK. For some reason I''m missing the Any ideas? Thanks, Dave

I''m not sure what the header file defines, I was hoping you could tell me...but I need it evidently.

I tried the DxEngine.h, but it didn''t work either.

Uh. I don''t use DirectX but i''m reasonably sure that''s not a standard header. You would know better than anyone else where to find it; probably wherever you downloaded/copied the code your trying to compile.

I found the files. They were located elsewhere on the website I downloaded the code from...just like you said.

Thanks, Dave
