To change the selection thing''s shape? Like you know when you hold down the left mouse button and drag it along it makes a square? I thought it would be cool if you could change that to be an elliptical (circular). But is it possible? Which selection thing? If you''re coding your own app, sure - use a ''dashed'' pen style when drawing the circle, and to check what you''ve selected get the center of the circle (midway between the start and end points) and then test that the distance from that point to all other points is less than the radius. (It''d probably be an ellipse rather than a circle, so you''d have to multiply the x and y values by your aspect ratio).
