Windows 98 Help

I have a Gateway / Windows 98 computer, and I am having just a little bit of trouble with it, if you can help, thank you! 1.) Whenever I start the computer, Program Files, and The HelpSpot load up everytime, how can I fix that? 2.) I go into My Computer>Control Center> Themes, and it won;t load. I can click on the Themes Icon 12 hundred times, and nothing happens. The only way I can get into it, is if I install a new theme, then when I exit, I can never get back in. Those are my two small problems, but if anyone can help, I would surely appreciate it, thanks. - Eric

answers

1) Start , run , type in msconfig. Go to start up tab and look for the programs and remove check marks , ok , restart . Also try right clicking on the task bar , then properties then remove and check for the programs under start up . If not there , then post , I''ll give you a registry hack.

2)Got into control panel , add remove programs , windows setup , and remove the check mark from themes . restart . go back and put the check mark , and viola .

There are only four types of men , RichMan , PoorMan , BeggarMan , Thief........
