I have heard that sqrt is implemented usually implemented as an iterative process. Which one? Wizza Wuzza?

Wether or not a mathematical formula is intuitive or not is mostly inside your head. I don''t remember seeing alot of formulas of which intuitive, mostly geometrical pictures aren''t possible.
