3d engine

Hi Duvi, if you are looking for 3d engines this is the place to start click here. But when you say you are a beginner what do you mean? Do u have a good knowledge of c/c++ etc...If you don''t I wouldn''t attempt using a 3d engine...take my advice and learn c/c++, some windows programming, you should learn about the OpenGL/DX API etc. I hate to tell you but you won''t achieve too much if you don''t learn that stuff first it''s hard but u got to do it...

Why do you guys keep redirecting newcomers at a page that was updated for the last time 3 years ago? Half these engines don''t even have a web space left, the other half has very few features or support.

Duvi: try searching on google for:
Ogre, Crystal Space, Panard Vision

But the most important thing is, decide which features you need (ie what you want to do) and then look for something that does it for you. If it doesn''t exist, well, do it yourself or bring down expectations.
