ARG

after much procrastinating I finally go out and buy Capcom vs. SNK 2 for XBox. last copy of it at the store (odd, but irrelevant to the story). i'm finally all excited and ready to play it, come home, stick the CD in the Xbox, and watch nothing happen. black XBOX logo screen comes on. and sits there. nothing. happens. i check the CD. no cuts, smears, dirt, discolorations, scratches, nothing. perfectly fine. rub it on a tissue just to make sure. put it back in - same thing. CD won't load/read. i try my other games to see if its my Xbox..nope. halo, midnight club 2, etc. etc ALL work. so it's not the Xbox. what the HELL could be wrong with a CD that's in mint condition. no holes in it. NOTHING. argh, now i have to go through the hassle of returning it and HOPING they exchange it with another copy. ok i felt like whining. but this is retarded.
