Is there any kind of guarantee on the quality of the powers? I mean, it might be worth the risk if the power you got was really kickass, but if you ended up with worthless powers like The Thing or that hairy guy in X-men who has really bad breath (one of Sinister''s minions I think) you''d be a bit gutted.

When I was younger I wanted laser beam eyes, hoping I''d get it by being struck by lightning or something.

I was in my room, during a lightning storm, thinking about that, and a bolt struck near my window, and I said, "Forget it! Forget it! I didn''t mean it!"

Hmmm, no guarantee on powers you''d get. But if that''s not good enough for you, what would the powers have to be for you to take the risk?
