New Forums Idea

I remember a while back Dave asked for suggestions regarding features for the new forums. I just thought of one now. Actually, I’ve thought of it for awhile, but since I’m browsing I might as well post it. OP indicator. You know, in those really long threads there are always a few people who talk like they know a little too much about the subject, one is typically the original poster. It would be cool if there were an icon, or something next to the OP’s name in the respective thread so you know who it is through the thread. Just a suggestion.

I think that is a very good idea. I also had an idea but probably no one will like it.

In the strange case that someone does like it here it is;

Why don''t we have some sort of a poll feature so you can put up a poll along with your thread something like < pole caption = "Do you think this is a good idea?" choice1 ="yes"choice2 = "no" choice3 = "Not saying" >

Because then the Staff would have to write a script, and they''re to lazy (Or busy) to do it.

Yeah, good idea.
Another nice idea would be to have people''s birthdays dispalyed (that is, if that day is someone''s BD, that person''s name and his/her age should appear there).

I think having them displayed would be a waste of space on the forums. I''d rather just have them stored in the database for people to view in the public profiles of people.
