No Simon. No Susan. It''s still damn funny, but it isn''t quite the same without those two key characters. I think I saw Simon in one of the trailers, so maybe he''s coming back? Hopefully. I''m mourning for you, Simon and Susan.

Teachers is awful, even if it is set in (iirc) Bristol, where I live. Now, Coupling, OTOH... fantastic. Can''t remember the last time a welsh bloke made me laugh so much.

Maybe I''m just sick of teachers in general. I hated them at school, they hated me, I went out with one for a while, and it didn''t go so well. Sod it, what use are teachers anyway?

I take it you''re referring to British television? ... as far as i know "Teachers" wasn''t on TV when i lived in England 3 years ago, if its a show about teachers ... how lame. :\

Never watched it. But I've been assured it crap.

edit: I have seen Eastenders though, also crap, and Corrie, and Emerdale, and hollyoaks. All very crap.

Teachers is an awesome program, it''s the only thing that gets me through Wednesday, I was so glad when I saw the ads for it.

Simon''s obviously gonna come back real soon since they showed him in a clip of it. I don''t miss Susan at all, she was crap, and Brian and Kurts pisstaking out of each other gets better every series. Love it.

I used to think it was funny, but I think it went downhill after simon left for sure, and also, when the last series ended I was at college; now I''ve finished school and started uni, the humour all seems a bit childish.

The programme is fantastic. Susan was good when she shared the screen with Simon.

It''s a little like South Park with humans in that it doesn''t quite belong to this reality (although physical limitations like having a man for a leg are left out).

It''s a little hollow sometimes, but it''s enjoyably daft and strangely comforting to know that someone is making a living writing this sort of stuff.

Just wait--American Spinoffs could make it even worse.

Look what they did with Whose Line(British one was WAY better), Red Dwarf, Fawlty Towers, and several others.

Thats a pretty "lame" statement. Seeing as you haven''t even heard of the show. I mean come on they make shows about all sorts of things. What do you see as lame about the concept of a tv sitcom about teachers.

Im sat here watching it now (ad break) and it''s just as good as the previous two series. Simon comes back next episode I think. Always watch out for things happening in the background. Some hilarious scenes with the students.

I hear the Men Behaving Badly imitation was terrible.

WHY WHY WHY do they think they can do it better? British producers don''t copy 24 or Six Feet Under (although you could argue about Freinds and the like, but those formats are derivative).
