What kind of email server?
If you are running the SMTP server that comes with IIS, and only want the email for local use, then it''s pretty easy. There are a couple of free applications that can do this.
If you want to create an internet mail server, it''s significantly mroe complicated.
To start, you''ll need software like microsoft exchange server or a free program called EMWACS (IMS). However IMS MUST run on a static ip. IMS also requires (as do most IM servers) that you have a runnning DNS. IMS will only run on windows server operating system.
