With school almost over, the parents in a good mood, and nothing to do, one would think, these are the best conditions to program, right? WRONG! Did you know, there is a real world out there? With stuff to do, lots of people to meet, maybe go cycling? Yes, believe me! While it is true, that the “outside” resembles UT (it is cruel and violent) it can also be fun. But that also means a lot of distracting factors (a.k.a. girls) which prevent you from doing any “real work” . Yes, ces’t la vie. So, what is expected of you the reader? Nothing much, just try to post something useful about your experiences in the * cue scary music* Real World Pascalix;

You know what I''ve found out? I can actually do real work while working at Kroger! Whenever it gets slow, I can just pull out a handy little notepad and work on the engine for my game (not much...just a Pong clone). Just design it out and when I get home, I can implement the design! Wow! I''m gonna start doing that Wednesday (I have tommorrow off).

Reality doesn''t suck. IMHO.

Ok, I’m cool again. I’m just happy to be back! three days hard ‘n’ dirty cleaning my room + being away from the computer have really irritated me. A lot of “coincidences” have prevented me from getting to a computer. like for example: A lighting . struck the phone network and burnt out my mom’s, my brother’s, and my aunt’s modem . (luckily for me, I have to plug and unplug the phone wire every time I use the net) These summer storms are staring to on my nerves.

So at least temporally reality sucks.
BTW, what does IMHO mean?

Reality sucks. When I shoot someone, I get in trouble. When I try to jump across a 30 foot pit (but that''s short!) I don''t make it. Healing takes a lot longer too I''ve noticed.
