Allright....
I got my first small 3d program working. It loads an x file and displays it on the screen and you can rotate it with arrow keys and stuff. But the image is all screwed up. The image has like big holes in it and most of the time less than half of the image is seen at one time......and it isnt like the left half or right half, but only about half of it displayed here and there. The x files i display are the ones that came with the DirectX 7.0. I though , hay maybe I just screwed up the programming somewhere.....well I if I screwed up then the program that displays x files that came with the SDK is screwed up too because when I load the images in that program it is exactly the same problem.
Now if I switch from HAL to RGB mode it displays perfectly fine.....so I am guessing it is my Video Card. ATI 3D Rage IIc.
Do you all think this is the prob or could it be something else ?
