DEV-C++ and Directx8 problems.

I jave downloaded and installed the latest vresion of DEV-C++ (V4980) and tried to use the DIRECTX8 fix files by Paul Gerfen. Alas i kept getting errors (something about "Tokens"). Has anyone managed to get them working???? I followed his instructions to the letter (I think) could someone please post better instructions if they have managed to get them to work. Thankyou

Please don''t tell me this is another linker error question...

If not, then it might be the problem I had. There was a little box in one of the headers that would give me an error "stray /32" or something like that. I just deleted it and everything worked fine after that.
