Goto My Shared folder, copy the partially downloaded file, paste it somewhere else, rename it so it had a .mpg on the end and use whatever you want to watch it.

You shouldn''t really use kazaa to download screeners and cinema recordings, instead use IRC, it''s the daddy

AFAIK, Kazaa Lite comes with AVI Preview, which even lets you preview partially finished DivX movies.

you can add that to the preview :
options->KL ententions options -> tools menu -> add
(dont forget to check the "add to preview" box

this works with emule too , even better with a plugin from emule site

Depending on what it is, it MIGHT not be a pirate copy. What if you downloaded music videos? The Star Wars kid? Trailers? Sitcom episodes? (not sure on this, but I don''t think it''s illegal), pr0nz? etc..? Kazaa != illegal.

I am actually surprised that Kazaa hasn''t released an applet or some such that you could embed into a webpage so that you could allow visitors to link to a file to be downloaded via the Kazaa network.

It would certainly go a long way to establishing credibility for Kazaa if it had a more mainstream use such as that...

Avi previewer hardly works - unless it''s an AVI - not sure if it works with mpeg''s or not but....I doubt it.

You might want to get divx, because some movies on kazaa are done in divx...

/me thinks that these ''movies'' aren''t bloopers or other funny things of the like

Use eMule, seriously. You''ll never have a corrupted/partial file again, as it does CRC checks on each chunk as it downloads.

Yes, and theres a system to filter out fake files, which there are none of anyways, because anyone whos even remotely stupid can''t figure emule.
