Multiplattform Tracing/Debugging?

All of you know the problem of debugging an application. Problems get even worse when it comes to multihreading issues. Most people just use printf statements or debugging macros from the DirectX framework, e.g. but what if the gamecode gets larger and larger ... I found a tracing framework which is really great. In fact, it is the best, I''ve ever seen, for it allows to define groups and also where to present the tracing results. You can - for example - choose whether the see the results in the logging window, a message box, written to a file, etc ... Even so theres no performance loss while time critical operations, you can log into a memory buffer and let the application write it to disk after it ends. For the ones of you who need something like this, have a look at HTrace by Dmitri Leman. [http://www.cuj.com/documents/s=8014/cuj0204leman/] What I need to know now, is, does anyone of you know a tracing framework like this, which is multiplattform compatible? I woule like to have something which allows me to define my tracing/debugging statements without having to care whether the game runs on an XBox, Playstation 2, GameCube or PC. Cheers, Chris.
