After googling around I found this article: http://www.acm.org/jgt/papers/MollerTrumbore97/code.html I could just take the code and stick it in my program, but I do not understand it at all. I don''t want to become a copy and paste programmer . When I find myself doing it something always goes wrong and I have no idea what it is since I don''t even know what "my" code is doing. Are there any diagrams of what is going on in that algorithm so I can get an idea of what it does? I could also use some pictures that show what DOT and CROSS do. I can rewrite the formulas all day but I can''t visualize them. Thanks for the help.

Moller''s book (with Eric Haines), "Real-time Rendering Second Edition" has about 10 pages describing ray-triangle intersection, and includes figures. If you''re near a University, their library may have a copy. This section is probably in the first edition as well.

I also highly recommend the accompanying website,

www.realtimerendering.com

Especially the page on intersections:

Amazon.com Listing for the book

Some ebay auctions:

Caution! These are both the *first* book edition, regardless of the fact that the auction says "NEW":
