... someone had to do it....
I just watched kill bill.... the movie blows. the only cool part is like this bloody 15min anime scene of how the half chinese half japanese chick''s mother and father got killed. Well... gogo''s kind of cute, and so is the half japanese, half french chick (before she gets decapitated). What do you guys think?
the storyline is all fragmented up (not that that should matter), and they didn''t use any matrix bullet-time (thank god) but some of the xfx are hard to catch. there is lots of blood, but besides from that, its just not that great. i feel like the creators were trying waaaaaaaay to hard. maybe its just me.... maybe its because ive been watching a lot of actually good shows lately.... who knows; in either case, go check it out for yourself and post here
. If you''ve seen the preview or the trailer, don''t watch the movie though. It''s basically the trailer w/ large dragonballz style talks in between or some other stupid filler. just watch the trailer over and over again instead ;P
I saw it twice and loved it. The music was amazing. The blood was hilarious. Sofie was gorgeous (She wasn''t decapitated, just got her arm chopped off). Can''t wait til the second half, although there won''t be any big action scenes like the House of Blue Leaves. Oh well, should still be good.
I''m not bald, I shave my head! Do you understand?

I went and saw House of the Dead with Rapidarp yesterday and I must admit that I did not like that movie. Aside from one 5 minute scene where they just killed like... 20 zombies, the movie was pure shit.

I'm staying on topic with bad movie releases this month ^_^ I was going to see Kill Bill, but now I'm rethinkning that.

It seems, from the reviews I''ve read, that Tarantino has concentrated on making a film which has bucketloads of nods to other movies (Uma Thurman''s yellow suit, for instance) and a whole lot of violence (cut together with his usual panache, no doubt), but hasn''t bothered to introduce any kind of character building or anything like a narrative structure to link together scenes.
Now, references to other movies in a film is a good thing (I love the Jay and Silent Bob movies), but when you over-do it, it gets crappy. Anyway, I''ll get to make my own mind up sometime this week...
