Who saw this movie? What did you think?
I saw it recently. I really enjoyed the Blade and Matrix films, so I figured this had to be okay in my book.

Well, no. See, the Blade and Matrix movies were something that Underworld wasn''t - good. Underworld contains very little dialogue, and what little it does have is generally screwed up. The movie uses dialogue as narrative. It''s just patronizing. However, the lead actress is both gorgeous and an extremely good fit for the part, but some of the other actors deliver pretty poor performances. Plus, the script sucks.
By the way, it''s about a vampire and a werewolf falling in love.
I''m willing to forgive the fact that the plot blows, as long as the action is entertaining. But it''s not. Underworld features an enormous amount of combat, but it''s all meaningless chaotic gunplay. The previews lead you to believe you get to see some cool martial arts, but there''s very little in the movie.
Underworld can be fun despite it''s many, many flaws, but it''s not a very good movie overall.
