Woo hoo!!! I've pretty much finished up with the inventory management/handling code in my game! That was a milestone on the way to a demo release, so if anyone for some odd reason was actually looking forward to a demo of Golem...well...it's getting much closer.
Here's a quick pic. of the inventory page. A little dull; the graphics could use some spicing up, but golem-equipping, item equipping, belt equipping, and inventory management all work perfectly. In case you're wondering, yes, it works nearly identically to Diablo. The main difference is that by default a character only has one equipment slot--the main center box for equipping golems. Additional slots and slot configurations are added by the golems themselves.
Sorry to disturb you. I thought about putting this in Announcements, but since I'm not really announcing the demo release yet, I decided to pester the Lounge goers instead.
We now return to our regularly scheduled programming...
EDIT: Fix the clicky

Check out Golem: Lands of Shadow, an isometrically rendered hack-and-slash inspired equally by Nethack and Diablo. [edited by - VertexNormal on October 12, 2003 9:19:52 PM]
