Better watch out, Apple is getting into some pretty low tactics to get people to switch to Apple hardware: "Apple Chief Financial Officer Fred Anderson has said that the Windows launch of iTunes would be a Trojan horse" (CNN) [edited by - michalson on October 16, 2003 4:13:44 PM]

That''s pretty funny. It was probably a metaphor though.

Anyone that has an iPod would, it would be a better piece of software on the PC end than what came with it originally. And the iPod does have a lot of market share, so there will be a lot of iTunes users out there. Also, with the new features of the music store, and 400,000 tracks available by the end of the month, I think there may be a future for iTunes on both platforms.

I''ve been waiting for iTunes to come out for the PC for a while because I want to get an iPod (the best damn friggen piece of hardware EVAR) but didn''t want to run a MAC emulation. Apple makes decent hardware, but there software usually sucks, but I''m willing to try iTunes for an iPod.
