Project -> Settings -> Debug Tab -> Parameters

Note that you cannot perform piping in the parameters box; you''ll have to use the command prompt to do that.
RIP GameDev.net: launched 2 unusably-broken forum engines in as many years, and now has ceased operating as a forum at all, happy to remain naught but an advertising platform with an attached social media presense, headed by a staff who by their own admission have no idea what their userbase wants or expects. Here's to the good times; shame they exist in the past.

Ahha, worked thanks. However the first parameter is always the path and file name of the executable. How do I stop that from always being the first parameter?

It''s really always there no matter what?

Yes, no matter what you do that will always be the first parameter

But even when you start your program from the commandline, the first parameter is the name of your file.
