I preffered the old Red Alert as oppose to RA2. It was better before they tried to make it all modern.

I''m sick of RTS games. They are too much Real Time and not enough Strategy.

just cos it''s fast-paced doesnt mean it cant have strategy too. problem is, most ppl try it, get owned first 3 games online, and quit cos "theres no strategy - ppl just rush with tanks"

But it is true. It's WAY less strategy, even if you are fighting the computer. I find .................. blah blah blah......... too tired to support myself right now.

Lazy explanation:
Starcraft strategy > any other amount of strategy in any other RTS game. Multiplayer == crap though. Single player > Multiplayer when come to fun.

I love that game. Although it becomes a tank rush towards the end, there can be strategic elements to help you gain the balance of power whilst you build an army, such as taking out enemy harvesters to reduce their production capacity, airlifting in a bunch of tanyas or spys. Plus if you don''t want to be tank rushed, play soviets and build a few yuris. Then airlift them in near the enemies tanks, hehe all hell will break loose!

Starcraft has alot of strategy, sure, but it gets boring if ur used to faster-paced games (RA2 ) The thing with most RTSs is that u can''t just pick it up, make up a "strategy", and go own everyone with it. You gotta get good at the micromanagement side of things before you can mess around with serious strategy. And there is a helluva lot of strategy involved in RA2 once you know what ur doing

Some people like not being in a rush all the time. Hell, some people even take the time to spell correctly.

Those who "like not being in a rush" (grammar ) should be playing TBS.
Those who take the time to spell correctly shouldn''t be reading the intarweb.
