For my game: The return of the Wizards I want to create a particle system with DirectX 9.0 in c++ for spells and such stuff. The only problem is that I don;t know how to do this. Can anybody help me with a good tutorial? ;-) [edited by - matthias15 on October 19, 2003 8:02:47 AM]

About the particle lists or arrays:
I''m using an static-size, dynamic array (new[]). In my update function I just check if the particle is dead, and I reset it. You don''t need to maintain a real dynamic array/list, if you ask me.
