So, in preparation for moving out to BC to complete my degree I was doing some background research into finding an apartment and learning about the neighbourhood around my university of choice (Simon Fraser University).
Here is an excerpt from the conversation, and bear in mind that I had already asked these people if it is possible to cycle year round and such in Vancouver. Stuff lives very close to the university.
(I am EvanB, the others live in Vancouver, and Victoria BC)
<EvanB> Burnaby has way more points over Victoria as a place to live right now. <EvanB> I never looked at the student residences there <EvanB> Figured I would check it out when I see the campus. <[stuff
<EvanB> have I been mislead; I though Simon Fraser was in Burnaby
<Dark_Hatch`> It is, technically
<EvanB> please explain "technically"
<EvanB> technically you can walk around in a hurricane
<Dark_Hatch`> It's on the top of a mountain
<EvanB> aww damn
<EvanB> How can someone overlook "a beautiful campus conveniently located AT THE TOP OF A DAMNED MOUNTAIN"!
One would think that the Universities web page would detail the fact that the campus was on the mountain while the neighbouring communities are not :/ EDIT: fixed your "tags"
