Hi every-1. Could someone tell me how I need to install Windows SDK?? Assuming I''ve got all the stuff needed, need I really install something or can I content myself of copying the right libraries and headers. What would be those headers, windows.h, windowsx.h.h and so on?? Or something else?? Thanks for your help. Prog, Hex & Rock''n''Roll : I don''t like the Prog but the Prog likes me. You can install the platform SDK from the above website (or order it on a CD which has an installer).

There are a lot of headers, libraries, tools, sample source code etc contained in the Platform SDK - so if you copy them manually you''ll have a lot of work!

The installer also sets up the system environment variables, MSVC compiler environment etc for you.

According to what you''ve told me, I cannot just install th libraries and headers? Even if I dont need the remainder (assuming I dont currently use MSVC, may I not need its environment variables'' configuration?).
