I have a video file that won''t open in WMP because of a codec problem. The same file opens just fine in VLC (another media player). What''s the deal? Do I have to tell WMP where the codec is? Or is the VLC software itself doing something for me? I just hate having to right-click the file and choose "Open With..." every time I want to view it, and I wouldn''t need VLC if WMP did its job...
