FreeGLUT is nice, but keep in mind that it is very much
still in development (especially the new 2.0.x version). So,
don''t be surprised if something doesn''t work the way it''s
supposed to or something gets broken with a new release.

GLUT is good for when you are learning, quick hack demos and for when you really really need platform independant binaries, but you''ll quickly find out how limited it is.
