Hey, this may be a dumb question, but how can I determine the amount of video memory that I have free on a graphics card? Also, DisplayLists in OpenGL are stored on the graphics card, right? Is this by default or must I set something to make it that way?

I''m not 100% sure, but I don''t think OpenGL itself provides a means for doing this. Of course your operating system might (Can''t recall anything in Win32 API off the top of my head) and you can always look it up in the display properties on the control panel.
