Is there a performance difference when I call 1. Global functions 2. Member functions 3. Static member functions or are the calling times equal? Dirk

Thanx for help. I just wanted to understand why MS declares their MathFunctions on global scope instead as static class functions. I wondered if there is a performance penalty.

They do it so C programs can access them. C programs have no notion of static class members.
