I did the first 12 NeHe tutorials. I can make them available to you if you want? I am going to see if NeHe will post them as well.

The problems of this world cannot possibly be solved by skeptics or cynics whose horizons are limited by the obvious realities. We need men and women who can dream of things that never were. - John Fitzgerald Kennedy(35th US President)
Do not interrupt your enemy when he is making a mistake. - Napolean Bonaparte

Here are some. I think they''re the NeHe stuff.
The chman stuff is outdated, though. There have been some sweeping changes since those were written. Really, there''s not much to it. All you need to know is how to set the display mode, create the window, and manage input. The GL.* methods work the same as their C counterparts, with the exception that any function that traditionally accepts an array is designed to accept a FloatBuffer (or a buffer of the appropriate type) in LWJGL. The examples provided with the download should be enough to quickly get up to speed with it. Worked for me anyway, after a couple of test apps to get familiar with it.
What''s the status of LWJGL on OS X? I''ve tried compiling the skeleton application given in the documentation on the site and I seem to get quite a number of unresolved references.
These unresolved references seem to relate to GL and GLU. I know I''m setting the class path correctly because the compiler seems to pick up methods in the Sys class fine.

Speed, mainly.
Ton of useful code in my game lib here:
Shaven Puppy Game Library (SPGL)
The entire (!) source code to Alien Flux can now be downloaded to look at from here. Any, er, sales and general niceness would be greatly appreciated, coz I'm depressed and not having any time or money to write another game...

But that would require more money and end up creating more depression
