I am looking for someone who could point me to a good place to learn basic DirectDraw. I have used the Microsoft help files, and I understand them, but I don''t of what type the certain variables are. It''s just a mite frustrating. Thanks. I''m trying not to get in over my head here. My advice would be to check out Andre' LaMothe's Tricks of the Windows Game Programming Gurus. It's a great book and covers the basics of DirectDraw extensively, along with loads of other stuff.

Tell me if I'm wrong, but I thought you couldn't put a question word like 'dare' before the 'wa' particle marker in Japanese. Shouldn't 'ga' be used instead?
