Hi there people. I'm making a program that needs to print some special reports. For it, I'm using the WIn32 API functions like OpenPrinter, SetPrinter etc. Althought, I have a problem when printing close to the sheet extremities. My printer does not print on this area (and I think most printers also don't print on all the paper surface). So, I was wondering if anyone knows a Win32API function that return to me the printable area of a sheet or something alike. Thank you a lot. Fernando. Actaully, you can print there. Just change the margins.
And the rockets' red glare, the bombs bursting in air, gave proof through the fight that our flag was still there.Oh say, does that star-spangled banner yet waveover the land of the free and the home of the brave?

No, that''s the problem. If I undersize too much the margin values, my printer will not print it (close to the sheet extremities).

I tested on Microsoft Word, and when the printer is configured to print on A4 sheet, I have to leave 0,4 centimer on left and right margin, 0,1 centimeter on top margin and 1,6 centimeter on bottom margin.

My application, made on VC++ 6.0 also doesn''t print on this area (outside 0.1, 0.1, 0.4 and 1.6).

For my actual printer I won''t have problems, all that I have to to do is to set the correct margin values. But and for the other Printers? What is going to happen if an user, using my program, try to print on other Printers? Are they going to have the same printable area of my printer?

So, is there a way to discover the printable area of o Printer on a sheet?

Thank you.
