speaking of irc, I was trying to connect to gd from the console and I was having problems after responding with a pong. There is an rfc for irc but iirc it was kinda long. Does anyone have the steps to do so, if at all possible?

Eh, so no one ever tries to log into an irc server through the console or is it no longer possible these days? After I pong an irc server it doesn''t do anything for a few seconds and then I get a dropped connection. :/

Crispy - Suspecting that the particular URL said person wanted you to visit had a virus or trojan put into the site itself, I investigated and sure enough, it had a trojan.

Thankfully I update NAV.

So it's good you didn't visit that link.

The IRC channel quite sucks. You got that message because some person has an IRC trojan which sends the message to everyone who comes online. Other than that IRC rules!
