How does human memory work? For example, if I memorize for a course on semiconducters: "The Ebers-Moll model of a bipolar transistor consists out of two diodes and two current sources", what has changed in my brain? Something electrical? New brain cell created? Brain cell changed it''s shape? Something chemical? Something Quantumphysical? Or something else?

braincells dont create new braincells or reproduce, the cells you had by birth in your brain are the cells you will have when you die minus these that already died in your lifetime (there are some concepts that new braincells are created through special cells which are not specialized, but that a small ammout and i dont know if they really produce new brain-cells) so: No new braincells are not produced (think about it in a simpler way, when you learn extra geeky stuff your head would start filling up more and more with cells and then explode :D)

we learn through chemical changes in the cells and through making new connections between braincells (losing connections will remove some informations and therefore sharpen the learned ''item''...), btw our brain could also be a quantum computer or interface, we dont know...
