Does anyone know of a (free) c++ maths library/toolbox that can help to evaluate expressions with parameters, for example:
-3.064M^3w^6 + 5.816EIM^2w^4 - 6.665E^2I^2Mw^2 + 0.843E^3I^3 = 0where E, I & M are unknowns and w^2 needs to be found (obviously this is a cubic that must be solve - trying to solve by hand I get 2 roots in the imaginary domain). I''m not necessarily looking for something that can actually solve the equation directly, but rather something that can deal with the parameters (ie so that I could have 2 objects "2M" & "M" and perform a mathemetical operation on them, eg + --> 2M + M = 3M)
