Hi I`ve got some problems, with programming my Modem with the Serial-Port. Problem Nr. 1: If i send some things to the Modem, maybe like "at" , in the INPUT-Buffer of the Modem must be things like "OK" , not more, and not less. But, there is a lot of other Data, and sometimes the Modem doesn''t respond all, of the answers, it should give. SO, as an example, when a connection has been established, there is sometimes just "CON" in the INPUT-Buffer, ans a lot of other fucking uninterresting chars around it, but there never is the expected answer, like "CONNECT 9600". Problem Nr.2: Is i write to the Modem "at dt "+callnumber, in the next loop, the Modem detects a Read-Event, and it Reads the String, wich should be in the OUTPUT-Buffer. Just after writing this five or six times to the Modem, it starts to call. I am programming with vc++ and the WIndows API ( CreateFile, WaitCommEvent, ... etc. ) thx for all answers Also, some links related to Modemprogramming are interresting. Sorry for the bad english. cu Reinhold Fischer

Your english is fine, maybe because im bad at it, but it seems flawless to me, if you want to see someone speak a language poorly

look at my german:

Ick wiss ein klein bischen deutsch. Ich habe für drei jahre deutsch gelernt.

When General Patton died after World War 2 he went to the gates of Heaven to talk to St. Peter. The first thing he asked is if there were any Marines in heaven. St. Peter told him no, Marines are too rowdy for heaven. He then asked why Patton wanted to know. Patton told him he was sick of the Marines overshadowing the Army because they did more with less and were all hard-core sons of bitches. St. Peter reassured him there were no Marines so Patton went into Heaven. As he was checking out hi
