Hello, all! I''ve written a nice 3D engine and now I would like to sell it''s source code The engine is great! It has all main feachers of any 3D engine and is written in such way, that you can take almost any of it''s part(implementing a particular feacher) and insert it into the source of any other application. You can use it as a ready product or like a great tutorial. VC++ 6.0 project is included. The price is VERY LOW! 20$ !!! Here is a brief list of engine''s feachers: --- OpenGL manager --- Free look camera view (time based movement) --- Loads BMP, JPG, TGA textures --- Loads compressed DDS files. Supported formats: DXT1, DXT3, DXT5 --- Multitexturing --- Supports 3D textures (very nice for dynamic lighting) --- Dynamic cubemapping --- Loads 3DS files --- Load MilkShape3D .ms3d file --- Supports OCTREE space partition --- Vertex array object buffers usage (for fast geometry rendering) --- The engine supports offscreen pixel buffers --- Collision detection --- Classes for using texture, bitmap and vector fonts. --- Curved PN_Triangles --- Occlusion query tests You can see the screenshots here: http://tryengine.narod.ru/screenshots.htm If you get interested - mail me: krot-s@mail.ru 3DS model and skybox textures were taken from www.gametutorials.com

I don''t know why it does not work, perhaps, because it is a free host. If you get really interested, write your email and I will send you some screenshots.

I think you should make a demo available. That way we get an idea of what it really can do. These screenshots could be of a good engine, that can really handle a game, but they could as well be produced by a simple program that just pushes some polygons to opengl.
The collision detection is a strong point, and if your occlusion culling works well it''s good too, but besides that, there''s not much in that list that could impress me. And there are also some very good engines available for free. Maybe you can show us otherwise, with a demo or so, but the impression I get now is that it isn''t worth that $20

If you''re planning on selling something online, the #1 thing you need(I might even say that it is more important than the product itself) is a good website. I would suggest 3-95.com as a host, and then you should spend some time making a professional-looking website.

Looking at your screenshots, I don''t really think you should be asking for money. Maybe your engine is impressive, but the screenshots don''t show it off. If I was going to buy an engine, it would probably be the Torque engine for $100 that has been proven in commercial games rather than some random guy''s project.
