Oh yeah, beat the crap out of Denver last week and spanked the Chiefs today. New England will get theirs next week. Any speculations on who the Colts will play in the Super Bowl? ==================================== Cat: the other white meat

Colts are young male horses. Broncos are unruly half wild horses. Go figure.

Actually, I don''t know shit about the Panther''s this season, I just like Philly.
I''d love to see the Colts make it to the Bowl, but New England is gonna be tough, much harder than these last two games. But if they can keep playing the way they have so far in the playoffs, they can do it.
Win or lose, next week will be ugly. The way football should be.

That packers game was a sick, sick game....Ahman Green stopped on the one! How can it be? And then veteran Brett Favre flings up an interception in OT!
I exist.

Come on, Philly beat the panthers before. After the Packers, there isn''t any chance for Carolina. Carolina''s gotta be crushed now. They were expecting Green Bay to win and then they would have the NFC championship game at home. Now they gotta come here. Eagles should have no trouble.

I was there, man! And it was intense! I''ll tell ya what, Freddy Mitchell with that 4th and 26th catch just saved us. And all capped off with B.Dawk''s interception from a pass by Favre that wasn''t even close to the reviever. Pure awesomeness.

Colts have no chance - they have a good offence - but poor defence and special teams (they couldn''t stop the cheifs either). The Colts will also be in the cold, away from home, where the PATS are 9-0 this season. (13 game winning streak!)

Pats also have more playoff experence, a better coaching staff (not to take anything away from dungy), and Belichek has almost always been able to get into Manning''s head.

Indy has not faced a devistating defence yet - Denver didn''t show up for the wild card game (not tackling Harrison), and the Chiefs Defence just sucks. . .

The PATS are humble too and not looking towards the big game yet - should be a good game - but I take the PATS by 7.

I''m not sure about the Colts vs. the Patriots. The colts just don''t have a ''good'' offense - they have an awesome and electric offense.

I had money on Green Bay, so I''m not laughing.

True - Colts do have an awesome offence. . . but this isn''t the Cheifs non-existant Defence they are playing. In the last 5 games, the patriots have only allowed an average of 5 points per game. And they are the best defence in the NFL when it comes to Points Scored Against it.

If you remember in the first game (Pats V.S. Colts at Indy) - the Pats were up 21 points before the Pats D went to sleep and Manning was (very impressivly) able to tie it up. The D finally woke up and stoped them at the end.

Don''t take the Pats offence for granted either. Tom Brady is one of the smartest QBs in the league and rarely makes many mistakes. The Offence does spread the ball around the field (as many as 9 diffrent recievers had receptions in the game), and while the running game isn''t great - they did get 92 yards rushing against the Titians - who had the best rushing defence in the league.

I do think it will be close. I do think Indy will be able to score some points - but I doubt it will be a really high scoring game. I see it as something like Pats - 17-14 or something like that.

If Manning plays like he''s played the last two games, aka perfectly, the Colts can''t be beat by anyone.

We saw it yesterday. The Colts defense is weak against the run and Holmes had a huge game running the ball. Kickoff cover team is weak and Dante Hall ran one back. But in the end, it didn''t matter. There were no punts in the game. Indy''s defense was able to hold the Chiefs to a field goal their first possession (Chiefs were #1 offense, Colts were #4) and that made the difference. The forced fumble helped too.

The point is, Indy''s defense isn''t too shabby (#10 overall I think), so it all comes down to Manning. If he plays perfectly, Colts win. Period.

The cold and the snow have an effect on both teams, but will certainly be in the Pats favor if the weather is really nasty.

And one more tidbit. The Pats weren''t the only ones undefeated at home this season. The Chiefs, Rams (lost this week), and Seahawks (lost last week) were also in that group. Furthermore, the Chiefs had a 13 game win streak at home going into this game. And they lost. The Colts have the best road record in the league now (8-1), with only the Eagles (7-1) close behind.

I don''t know who''ll win, but it''s gonna be a hell of a game.

Yup.
Didn''t the Pats RB get messed up last game? Davis? Any word on if he can play next week?

Dude, those two plays won the game. That pass by Favre...man...he will kick himself in the ass for a very long time over that. It almost looked like he meant that to be an Eagle catch.
That had to suck for him.

I couldn''t find any word on the running back being injured for New England, so I can only imagine that if he did get hurt, he''s gonna play anyway (Goddamn I love the playoffs!).

I thought Favre blew it too. He should never have thrown that ball. This guy makes an interesting point though, blaming the loss on Packer''s coach Mike Sherman for making the call to use the hard count on the 4th and 1 in the 4th quarter. They could have gone for it, and probably made it, leading to a TD or at least a field goal. Hell, I think they were on the 28 yard line at the time, making it a doable 45 yarder. Trying to use the hard count was retarded.

Yeah - One of the RBs for the PATS did get injured - Antwan Smith hurt his ankle. I think they said it was a minor injury and right now he is probible to play. The Pats also have two other RBs that they use in differnt situations - Kevin Faulk and Mike Cloud. Smith is a more power back - North to south runner, while Faulk and Cloud use more speed and cut backs.
