Winapi?

Do you think that 1) WINAPI (c/c++) 2) .NET forms 3) c# (whatever they use, doubt its WINAPI) 4) VB / VB.NET is the "best" for programming windows, and why.... Also, i read in another forum that they thought WINAPI was on its way out because of development time...what do you all think?? -Dan Yes I realize im a n00b...

Theyre all completely different, some are quicker, some are more efficient, and also i said to state why, your reasons for choosing the "best" one are your own...

.NET C# and VB all use the WinAPI, it''s just been abstracted more.

I prefer to use my own system, which again utilizes the WinAPI. Although maybe I''ll write that OpenGL GUI one day and be done with it
